Professional:
Bobby is a Florida native who grew up in Citrus County, Florida. He called Homosassa Springs home until September 2008 when he relocated to Tampa, FL. He now resides in St. Petersburg, FL with his partner, Steve.
Bobby became a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the State of Florida in 2003 and was a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, and Realtors Association of Citrus County (RACC). Bobby holds the At Home With Diversity designation recognized by the National Association of Realtors and is a strong supporter of diversity wthin our community. Bobby was the 2007 co-chair person for the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) for the Realtors Association of Citrus County. In addition to this, he was a member of the Affordable Housing Committee as well as the Realtors Outreach Citrus County (ROCC) Committee which focuses on many community involvement projects.
He ended his full-service real estate career in 2007, but still holds a valid Florida Real Estate Salesperson license and continues to remain current on his continuing education in real estate.
Bobby has also served as a host for many community events such as local dance recitals, auctions, tournaments, and charitable functions and has a passion for public speaking.
Bobby is currently employed by Westerman White, P.A. in St. Petersburg, Florida as a Legal Assistant. In addition to this, he is proud to announce that he is also working with MyQmunity.com as a Sales and Brand Representative. MyQmunity is the leading "Where to go, what to do, where to shop" website in the Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg area.
Volunteer:
In February 2011 Bobby was elected the Chair of the Media/Marketing/Communications Committee for the Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County (www.StonewallPinellas.org). Additionally, in February 2011 he was elected Communications Director for the Floirida GLBT Democratic Caucus (www.FloridaGLBTDemocrats.org).
Bobby is a long time supporter of diversity, and proud advocate for equal rights. Bobby has participated in the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life for five years in a row. He served as the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee for a NEW First Annual Relay For Life of Spa Beach Park, FL for the American Cancer Society. This event was the first ever branded LGBT Friendly Relay for Life for the organization. Unfortunately, it was cancelled by the organization. Bobby has also participated in the American Heart Associations Heart Walk, fundraised for Hurricane Katrina Relief projects, sponsored low-income children for Dance Scholarships at DancEtc in Crystal River, Florida, and served on a committee to raise money for a Citrus County Elementary School to purchase a new mascot for their students. Bobby continues to look for ways to make a positive impact on our community and has a passion for volunteer work.
